Seasonal PAT Testing Checklist - When to Test Throughout the Year

A seasonal guide to the best times for PAT testing for different businesses.

While PAT testing can be done any time, certain times suit particular businesses better.

January to March: New Year Fresh Start

Start the year with up-to-date certificates. Good for offices aligning testing with the calendar year.

April to June: Pre-Summer

Good for holiday lets and Airbnbs before summer season. Also for schools before the academic year ends.

July to August: School Holidays

Ideal for schools, colleges, and nurseries. Zero disruption to learning.

September to October: Autumn Preparation

As portable heaters come out of storage, get them tested before winter. Good for landlords at the start of letting season.

November to December: Year-End

Good for year-end audits and insurance renewals. Test Christmas lights before they go up.

Whatever time works for you, book your PAT test with Green Tag.
